Ben Shaw is a law clerk at ARC Law Group, a law firm focused on counseling Creative, Talented and Entrepreneurial clients. Ben works directly with partners Mark A. Pearson and Jeff Farr as the primary research clerk on trademark, licensing and other intellectual property issues. Ben also contributes his creative skills and experience as a sound engineer to the firm’s Business, Entertainment, Sports & Technology (B.E.S.T.) Law Podcast.
Ben has been a musician since he was five years old and received a Bachelors degree in Psychology and Music from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Ben is currently pursuing a law degree at Golden Gate University School of Law (Class of 2013) with a focus on intellectual property law. With this knowledge Ben intends to work as an advocate for creative artists and entrepreneurs by using the law to protect and foster their creative efforts.
