Katherine West was a Spring 2013 law clerk at ARC Law Group, a law firm focused on counseling Creative, Talented and Entrepreneurial clients. Katherine has training in trusts and estates law, and works closely with partners Mark A. Pearson and Jeff Farr as the primary research clerk on issues related to estate planning and administration.
Katherine is a graduate of Santa Clara University School of Law ('13) with an interest in trusts and estates. Katherine is the Senior Articles Editor for Santa Clara Law Review, Vol. 53. She has two articles forthcoming in Santa Clara Law Review, one entitled “Denying a Class of Adopted Children Equal Protection” and the other entitled “Following in North Carolina’s Footsteps: California’s Challenge in Compensating its Victims of Compulsory Sterilization.” Prior to law school, Katherine attended UC Davis, where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in History and a minor in Economics.
